Magic: the Gathering Combos

Here are some ways to extremely anger your opponent in Magic: The Gathering.

INFINITE PING!!

Thornwind Fairies

Curiosity or Coastal Piracy

Mind Over Matter

Library of Leng

This combo is fairly simple to pull off. Either cast the Curiosity on Thornwind Fairies, or use the Coastal Piracy. Tap the Fairies to deal one damage to your opponent. Use Mind Over Matter to untap it, only when you discard your card, move it to the top of your library instead with Library of Leng. Curiosity or Coastal Piracy will let you draw that same card back. This actually works the other way around, but it doesn't matter. Repeat this process until those tiny winged nuisances poke the sense out of your enemy. To be mean, you can kill off all his creatures first just so your opponent gets to watch them all die. In some cases, this may be useful, in case of some card that does something with damage done to the player, like redirect it to your Thornwind Fairies, who won't take that very well with only 1 toughness.

Elves of Destruction:

Lots of elves who produce mana

Vitalize

Recycle

This combo can win you the game in the second or third turn! Your entire deck has to be made up entirely of these and a couple forests. A Congregate or two wouldn't be bad either! Play a recycle as one of your first spells. The combo is greatly speeded if you play 2. Every time you play an elf, draw a card. If your deck is made up of just these, your next will probably be an elf. Use the last elf's mana to cast another one. Draw some more elves. Play some more elves. When you've almost decked yourself, and you have just enough cards in your deck to play one more spell, cast Vitalize! Attack with your swarm of probably 50 or so elves! That'll leave a mark!

Block Everything! (1)

Entangler

Inviolability

any creature, preferably high power

(You could use Cho-Mano Revolutionary instead of Inviolability.)

Enchant any creature with Entangler and Inviolability. Any time your attacked, block all attacking creatures with that one enchanted creature!

Block Everything! (2)

Mounted Archers

Inviolability

Exactly the same as above, but with a higher risk. The Mounted Archers have a limit set by the number of untapped white mana you have, so I recommend using the above.

Block Everything! (3)

Defensive Formation

Cho-Mano Revoulutionary (or, of course, Inviolability.)

Assign all damage to Cho-Mano Revolutionary, or creature with Inviolability!

Fun things to do with Megrim!

These are the best ways I know of so far to deal the most damage with a megrim besides the usual Duress, Ostracize, etc.

Scandalmonger

Nicol Bolas

Robberfly

Windfall

Ahh, windfall! That reminds me of another combo regarding this! Have a Library of Leng in play and store as many cards as possible, like say about 10 minimum. Use Windfall and deal 20 or more damage to each player depending on number of Megrims in play. After everyone has their new hand of at least ten cards, let them have it with another Windfall!! Gee, wonder why THAT card was banned! After that, any few survivors will have to deal with discarding extra cards at their discard phase. That should peg them off unless they manage to cast some stuff. In that case. . . Windfall again!

Black version of Wrath of God!

Death Pits of Rath

(Either) Dry Spell, Noxious Field, Thrashing Wompus, or any other card that damages every creature.

The damage card will damage allcreatures, and after they take the damage, Death Pits of Rath will kill them all. Very simple.

How to get vampires bigger easier

Any vampire card or creature with Vampiric Embrace (gets an extra +1/+1 when a creature dies same turn creature damages it)

Expunge, Befoul, Terror, etc. (Any instant kill card)

Damage a creature in any way with your vampire (Like combat for instance, or you can give it a Hermetic Study so you can ping your enemy's creatures with the vampire) then kill it if its not already dead w/ your instant kill card. Also simple to pull off.
