Magic: The Gathering Decks
Here are a few decks for Magic: The Gathering! Like Pokemon, I don't like to give out my decks.
The RPG Pitt Trademark Deck! (This is the official RPG Pitt deck. Only difference is that RPG stands for Rancidly Piggish Ghoul here.)
[note:this may not be the exact copy yet. I will double check to be sure.]
3 Lord of the Pit
4 Breeding Pit
1 Lab Rat
3 Sengir Autocrat
1 Entangler
4 Mounted Archers
4 Inviolability
2 Phyrexian Ghoul
1 Noble Purpose
2 Circle Of Protection: Black
10 Plain
10 Swamp
As you can see, this deck is based mainly around Lord of the Pit. There
are plenty of "Useless Critter" cards like Breeding Pit, Lab Rat, and
Sengir Autocrat to feed the things. One obvious problem would be a
freak Arc Lightning or two that would destroy the critters, so there's
a couple COP Black to counter that nasty loss of 7 damage when the
Lord of the Pit gets peeved. What if a tranquility is played? Then you've
got a problem whereas you just lost your Breeding Pits and COPs!
What to do? Well, on your turn, you should have a couple critters
running around crying "Eat me! I'm tasty!!" So, you should be safe for
that upkeep. On your turn, cast a Phyrexian Ghoul or two. Wait until
the end of your opponent's turn to feed the Lord of the Pit (or two if
you're lucky) to the Phyrexian Ghoul. The mana curve on this deck is
quite costly, but you can get lands out quickly in this deck. Plus, if you
can get a Lord of the Pit or two out with enough mana to upkeep
enough critters to feed those guys, you'll have some 7/7 Flying
Tramplers flitting about to peg off any opponents. You also have a
Noble Purpose, so when you come in with the Lords of the Pit you're
going to get a lot of health with it, seeing as the Lord of the Pit has
flying and trample. That's pretty hard to block! This is useful if you
get stuck with hungry Lords of the Pit breathing down your neck and
decide to bite off your hand and use it as a chew toy. The extra life
should be able to cover the 7 damage your unfaithful pets will do.
Now we get to the fun, cheap part! The Mounted Archers are good to
block anything, and give them inviolability to make them invincible and
able to ward off all attacks! Or slap an Entangler on something else,
then an Inviolability with that! (If there are any other large creatures
out on your opponent's side, Lord of the Pit will be a useful target for
Entangler and Inviolability) Some additions to this deck would be
Belbe's Portal, more lab rats, and more Entanglers.
