Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time

PLOT: The Deku tree senses the world being covered with evil. He sends Navi, the fairy, to the boy without a fairy. That's you. You live in Kokiri village, a town in a deep, magical forest. Navi tells you that the Great Deku Tree is sick. The tree wants you to see it, but first you need to get a shield and sword. As you step outside, your best friend Saria greets you and tells you some things. Once you get to the tree, the Deku tree tells you that the evil Ganondorf has placed a curse on him. You go into the tree and find it infested with parasitic bugs. You must kill the Queen. When that's done, the Great Deku Tree tells you that Ganondorf is trying to take over the land of Hyrule. He tells you that you must collect the three Spiritual Stones, and then gives you the first. As you leave the town, your friend Saria meets you again on the bridge. She asks, "How will you survive? The Kokiri people can't live outside the forest. The Deku tree said you must go, so you do it anyway. Before you leave, Saria gives you the Fairy Ocarina. Then you leave home, and the adventure begins.

GRADE: This game is very exciting, and it's not too hard at the beginning, which is good, because if a game is too hard at the beginning, you can't get anywhere and forget about the game. This game is not at all like that. It starts easy and gradually raises to a intermediate/hard level. This game requires a lot of strategy, for there are many puzzles that you need to solve. One unique feature of this game is the ability to travel through time. Some things you do in the past will affect things in the future. There are many surprises in store for you if you've never played, or are thinking of getting it. Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time also has the best graphics I've seen for the Nintendo 64. It also has the smoothest gameplay, cool special effects, and, of course, . . . SECRETS!!!
PLOT IDEA 8.9(Same as most other Zelda games)
GAMEPLAY 9.9(Doesn't slow down at active parts, each boss has its own weakness, characters developed well. Only part I don't understand is that number on your save slot. I've beat it, and it stays at 0, but when my sister or someone plays, they always ask me for help & its up at 13. This isn't explained anywhere in the game or manual.)
GRAPHICS 9.9(Almost completely 3D, very few 2D renderings of which being cool looking 2D pictures.)
MUSIC 7(Most is pretty good, but the dungeons have cheesy bg songs. Mostly just creepy noises for the dungeons)
SOUND EFFECTS 10(Never late or too early, and they sound real)
SPECIAL EFFECTS 9.7(Explosions look OK, but not great. Fires look cool, and really sweet things happen when you beat things. Bosses die in many different ways, buildings crumble at your feet, etc.)
SECRETS 10(These people really know where to hide things. I've beat this game twice and still didn't find everything!)
AVERAGE 9.3
